As a Radiologic Technologist / Medical Assistant, you'll provide individualized health care services to patients, assess and perform radiographic procedures, and communicate effectively with patients and physicians. You'll also adapt your behavior to the specific patient population, respecting their privacy and adapting your communication style. To be successful, you'll need a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a Radiologic Technology program, and certifications such as Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
