The RN Coordinator - Ventricular Assist Device, Heart Transplant position at Ochsner Health involves pre-implant, post-implant, and/or inpatient mechanical circulatory support, acting as a patient advocate and educator, and promoting optimum patient independence, self-care, and rehabilitation.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- 3 years of related experience with an associate degree in nursing
- OR 2 years of related experience with a bachelor's degree in nursing
- Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
