Job Description
Octopus Energy is seeking a Backend Engineer to join their Tech Team. The role involves developing innovative technological solutions to make energy easier and more accessible, with a focus on customer experience. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience as a backend developer, with expertise in Python, Django, and domain modeling.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience as a backend developer
- Python and particularly Django (or equivalent web framework)
- Domain modeling
- GraphQL and REST API
- Robust software writing and fault-tolerant writing
- Celery and asynchronous processes
- Postgres
- AWS Terraform, Packer, Consul
- React and Next.js
