Backend Engineer

Treeswift empowers energy companies to modernize their field work by deploying sensors and processing LiDAR and imagery data through AI models to deliver actionable analytics through their web platform. They are looking for a Backend Engineer to build and own the backend services and infrastructure behind their web platform, working across the full lifecycle from data modeling to deployment and operations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience building and operating production web services
• Proficiency in Python and comfort with Django's ORM, migrations, and middleware model
• Experience with PostgreSQL or solid understanding of database fundamentals
• Hands-on experience with writing code to run in Docker
• Understanding of authentication and authorization patterns
• Ability to communicate clearly across technical and non-technical teams
