Correction Lieutenant is responsible for supervising correction officers, enforcing post orders, and conducting surveillance security of the institution. The position requires a high school diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of training or experience in enforcement of security measures for detention of felons or consumers who are criminally insane in a controlled environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervisory principles and techniques, providing work direction and training to other employees, and have a commercial driver's license if assigned to operate vehicles regulated by Section 4506.01 of the revised code.
