Job Description
The Correction Officer responsibilities include maintaining control of the institution, supervising and directing inmate activity, assuring assigned area is clean, safe, and secure, and conducting inmate counts and security rounds.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver's license for positions assigned to transportation section
- Commercial driver's license to drive vehicles qualifying as commercial
- Correction officer assessment or have successfully completed assessment within past 24 months
