Job Description
Marion Correctional Institute (MRCI) is seeking a Correction Officer to work in a safe, secure, and humane correctional environment. The Correction Officer responsibilities include maintaining control of the institution, supervising and directing inmate activity, and operating security controls and equipment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver's license for positions assigned to transportation section
- Commercial driver's license to drive vehicles qualifying as commercial
- Correction officer assessment or successful completion within past 24 months
