Corporate Counsel – Privacy Commercial

Okta is seeking a Corporate Counsel – Privacy Commercial to join its Cybersecurity & Privacy Legal team. The successful candidate will lead a small privacy commercial team and advise on privacy and data protection matters related to commercial transactions, including drafting and negotiating data processing addenda and information security exhibits.

Requirements

• 4+ years of relevant law firm and/or in-house experience
• Familiarity with the culture of a fast-paced enterprise software company
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, drafting and negotiation skills
• Sound and practical legal and business judgment
• Knowledge of global privacy, data protection and security frameworks
• Ability to maintain strong working relationships with internal clients and business partners
