Job Description
Okta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Core Identity organization. This role focuses on building and operating critical identity services for the Auth0 platform, with a strong emphasis on designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems in a cloud environment. The position requires collaboration with various teams and a deep understanding of identity and security best practices.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience or equivalent
- Proficiency in building backend services with Node.js (JavaScript or TypeScript)
- Experience designing, building, and operating distributed systems in a cloud environment
- Strong commitment to quality with experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Product-oriented mindset with understanding of customer needs
- Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) or security engineering principles.
