Job Description
The Senior Applications Engineer will provide technical support to Sales and Distribution teams, focusing on Mill Products, and will be responsible for customer training, demonstrations, and post-sale project support.
Requirements
- High School or Equivalent
- License/Certificate
- Trade School
- Associates Degree (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
- Math, PC Skills, Communications and report writing
- SME, Manufacturing/Machining Experience
- Manufacturing - Machine Tool
- Familiarity with the type of components being machined/processed in various industries
- Familiarity with modern CNC machines and controls (preferably Okuma)
- Familiarity with current cutting tools
- Familiarity with a wide range of manual and hydraulic work holding
- Familiarity with robotic systems
- Familiarity with SPC
- Familiarity with PC applications - CAD/CAM, AOT, CAS, 3DVM, VeriCut and Modeling software
