Job Description
The Olympic Peninsula YMCA is seeking a part-time swim lesson instructor to develop and implement high-quality swim lessons to all participants. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching swimming and a commitment to the YMCA mission of youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Requirements
- Passion for teaching swimming and commitment to YMCA mission
- Previous experience teaching swimming and/or developing lesson plans
- Ability to swim proficiently
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Ability to relate well and communicate effectively with diverse group of individuals
- Pass comprehensive background check
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations
