Software Engineer (Back End)

Ometria is seeking a Software Engineer (Back End) to help build scalable, reliable, and performant solutions. As a member of the combined product and engineering team, you will work collaboratively to design and develop services in the most appropriate language, using best practices. You will contribute to challenges such as improving database and data pipeline performance, building new features, and refactoring existing systems to meet required performance within existing constraints.

Requirements

• Experience with distributed systems at scale
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Knowledge of Python or Golang (with willingness to learn Python)
