Sr. SQL Database Administrator

Role Overview

As a Sr. SQL Database Administrator, you will be responsible for the stability, performance, and security of mission-critical SQL Server platforms. This role requires deep, hands-on experience supporting complex production environments, including high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization at scale.

What You Will Do

Own the administration and operational health of Microsoft SQL Server environments, manage backup and restore solutions, investigate and resolve complex performance issues, and collaborate with application teams to tune queries and indexes for optimal performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in production environments
• Strong expertise in performance tuning, backup and recovery, disaster recovery planning, and high-availability architectures
• Proven experience migrating SQL Server from 2016 to newer versions in an Always On Availability Group setup
• Advanced proficiency in T-SQL scripting, troubleshooting, and automation
• Experience with SQL Server Agent, replication, clustering, or CDC in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience managing database security, auditing, privileged access management (including BeyondTrust), and data masking
