Manufacturing Equipment Technician - Backend

onsemi is looking for a knowledgeable Manufacturing Equipment Technician to perform preventative maintenance and lead electrical/mechanical troubleshooting in various semiconductor manufacturing areas.

Requirements

• Troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electro-pneumatic systems
• Complete scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance and repair procedures
• Use test and diagnostic equipment to identify root cause problems
• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis, and repair of equipment
• Drive solutions and guidelines by recommending and writing maintenance procedures and specifications
• A safety-minded approach is required
• Ability to consistently take initiative and drive one's own work at a high level
• Demonstrate advanced leadership skills for small teams
• Perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
• Participate in Maintenance or cross-functional teams
• Work with outside vendors as required
• Opportunity to provide leadership to other technicians by providing training and mentoring
