Infrastructure Specialist Intern

The Ontario First Nations Technical Services Corporation (OFNTSC) is seeking a highly motivated Infrastructure Specialist Intern to join their team. The intern will shadow housing inspection services, gain hands-on experience within Indigenous communities, and gain guidance to obtaining Ontario Building Code certification.

Requirements

• College Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architectural Technology/Technician, or another related specialty.
• Some working knowledge of the Ontario or National Building Code (training may be provided for individuals meeting the educational requirements to get Building Code Qualified through the Ontario Building Officials Association (OBOA)).
• Construction Experience is considered an asset.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Have a keen eye for detail.
• Work independently when required.
• Willing to take additional training, as required.
• Knowledge of technical terminology as it relates to Infrastructure.
• Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license.
