
Job description
Join Ontic's Quality Department as a Supplier Quality Engineer, Level II, responsible for a wide variety of quality functions associated with the procurement of aerospace parts and assemblies. The role involves ensuring compliance of procured product to dimensional and contractual requirements, developing and implementing Supplier Performance Metrics, and initiating Quality Improvement initiatives with suppliers.
Perform review of Customer Contracts/Purchase Order Quality flow down requirements, communicate Supplier Quality Management program requirements, manage Approved Supplier List, and implement Supplier Quality procedures.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in manufacturing/mechanical engineering, proficient experience with aerospace products and processes, and a minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in aerospace products and processes in a role for Supplier Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering.
