Job Description
OpenAI is seeking an Account Director to lead executive-level relationships with healthcare and life sciences organizations. The role involves managing a portfolio of accounts, developing strategic account plans, and collaborating with various teams to improve R&D productivity, automation, and patient/provider engagement. This position blends scientific expertise with business acumen and requires a strong understanding of healthcare workflows.
Requirements
- 14+ years selling complex enterprise software or platform-as-a-service solutions to healthcare or life sciences customers
- Proven success achieving annual revenue targets >$2M+ in regulated industries
- Experience managing C-suite relationships across R&D, IT, medical, and commercial teams
- Strong understanding of healthcare and life sciences workflows
- Familiarity with data privacy, compliance (HIPAA, GxP), and security considerations in healthcare
- Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex deal and partnership strategies
