Accounting Manager

OpenTable is seeking an Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting and month-end close for core operational accounting areas. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical grounding in US GAAP/IFRS and experience in financial accounting/GL roles, including ownership of month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Fully-qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
• Solid experience in financial accounting/GL roles, including ownership of month-end close, reconciliations, and process improvement for key balance sheet and P&L areas
• Experience working with or alongside a shared service/COE model, including supporting process transitions and ongoing governance, is a plus
• Strong technical grounding in US GAAP/IFRStest
• Ability to standardize and document processes and to use data and systems to support reconciliations and analysis
• Clear, concise communicator, able to explain accounting topics and reconciliation outcomes to both finance and non-finance partners
