Medical Assistant

The Dermatology Center of Indiana is seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Zionsville, IN. The successful candidate will assist physicians and other providers with patient procedures and be responsible for various administrative tasks.

Requirements

• Prepares exam rooms for patient use
• Assists physicians with patient procedures
• Schedules diagnostic tests and procedures
• Facilitates referrals to other physicians
• Contacts patients to relay test result information
• Pre-certifies medications and referrals
• Takes manual inventory of drugs
• Disinfects exam rooms and lab
• Performs all duties respectful of confidentiality and safety
