Financial Accountant

The Financial Accountant supports the delivery and efficient operations of the International Finance function at Optos PLC, with key responsibilities including accurate and timely financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and VAT and tax compliance.

• Demonstrable relevant experience in a similar role
• Positively contributes to a high performing team environment
• Takes ownership and focuses on delivering operational excellence within an International, regulated industry
• Critical thinker with a logical and structured approach to problem solving
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with attention to detail
• Excellent IT skills, with the ability to manipulate large data sets, produce accurate & cohesive reports for management
• Previous experience of statutory accounts beneficial
• Previous experience of MS Dynamics systems beneficial
