Job Description
The SaaS Continuity Engineering team is responsible for designing and building high-availability and service continuity solutions for Oracle's SaaS services. As a Senior Principal Engineer (Architect), you will ensure that our SaaS services are designed and built with the highest level of availability and resiliency in mind. You will collaborate with other engineering teams to architect, design, and implement SaaS Services and underlying platform in a distributed computing environment.
Requirements
- MS/BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields
- 10+ years experience in system/application architecture/design along with database, infrastructure and networking experience
- 6+ years software development experience in a distributed cloud engineering environment
- Strong development experience in Java, C++, or similar OO languages
- Experience with containers (Dockers, Kubernetes) and other cloud native components
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for developing automations
- Experience in developing resilient and fault tolerant systems
- Experience working with multiple engineering teams across organizations
