Job Description
OCI Network Availability is seeking a Network Reliability Engineer to build and operate services that enhance the availability of the Oracle Cloud Network Infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and operating a large-scale global Oracle cloud computing environment, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and developing scripts to automate routine tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related engineer field with 1+ years of Network Engineer experience or Master's degree
- Experience working in a large ISP or cloud provider environment
- Experience working in a network operations role
- Broad understanding of protocols and services such as MPLS, BGP/OSPF/IS-IS, TCP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and SSL
- Some experience with scripting or automation – Python preferred
- Some experience with network monitoring and telemetry solutions
- Some experience with network modelling and programming – YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle
