Senior Technical Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to assist our customers with a wide range of problems, primarily in written form, with some direct calls or web conferences. The role involves interacting with customers, other Support members, and Oracle teams to help them or their customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MySQL products and proficiency in SQL, with expertise in a command-line environment and English proficiency.

What You Will Do

Maintain a high degree of professionalism, contribute to the development and maintenance of our Knowledge Base, and interact with customers to solve problems, provide assistance, and discuss feature planning or documentation changes.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will be highly functional in a command-line environment, have expertise in both Windows and Linux, and possess strong troubleshooting skills. Experience managing or supporting MySQL in a production environment, knowledge of computer languages, and the ability to independently self-motivate are also preferred.

Requirements

• Solid background in MySQL products
• Proficiency in SQL
• Expertise in a command-line environment
• English proficiency
• MySQL Certification (within the first couple of years in the position)
• Experience managing or supporting MySQL in a production environment
• Experience on Cloud infrastructure (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure preferred)
• Experience with a Cluster environment (MySQL InnoDB Cluster or NDB Cluster preferred)
• Knowledge of at least one computer language (C, C++, or Java preferred)
• Strong troubleshooting skills
