Senior Technical Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Technical Analyst to assist our customers with a wide range of problems, primarily in written form, with some direct calls or web conferences. The role involves interacting with customers, other Support members, and Oracle teams to help them or their customers. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MySQL products and a deep knowledge of several of the MySQL products and how they operate.

What You Will Do

The Senior Technical Analyst will be responsible for maintaining a high degree of professionalism when representing MySQL, contributing to the development and maintenance of our Knowledge Base, and interacting with customers to solve problems, assist other Support members, and help Oracle teams.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will be highly functional in a command-line environment, proficient in SQL, and have excellent English proficiency, both written and verbal. Experience managing or supporting MySQL in a production environment, experience on Cloud infrastructure, and knowledge of computer languages are also preferred.

Requirements

• Proficiency in SQL
• Highly functional in a command-line environment
• Excellent English proficiency
• MySQL Certification (expected to be earned within the first couple of years)
