We are seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to oversee activities pertaining to diverse training and educational initiatives within an organization. This role involves assessing individual or group training requirements, implementing strategies, plans, and programs to address these needs, and creating a range of training resources.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with subject matter experts and clients
- Proven experience conducting detailed training and/or job/task analyses
- Proven experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant
- Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment
- Experience designing and developing SCORM-conformant content
- Experience and working knowledge working in multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate)
- Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience instructional systems design, educational technology or similar relevant field
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience of creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content
- Must have advanced knowledge in computer-based training (CBT), and/or web-based training (WBT) tools (i.e., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, etc.)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
