Job Description
Orica is seeking an experienced Shotfirer to join one of their large Coal Operations teams in the North Bowen Basin. The role will involve assisting and supervising the Blast Crew in loading, tying, and firing large shots. The position is Drive-in Drive-out (DIDO) with 7 days on/7 days off rosters and camp facilities provided.
Requirements
- Experience operating as a full shotfirer
- Authorised iKon Shotfirer or prior experience with iKon systems
- Knowledge of explosives storage regulations and blasting procedures
- QLD Shotfirers Licence
- Current HR licence (desirable but not essential)
- QLD Explosives Security Clearance
- Impeccable safety record and commitment to safety
