Shotfirer - Queensland Coal

We are seeking experienced Shotfirers to join our North Surface Coal Team in Central Queensland. As a Shotfirer, you will assist and provide direction, supervision, and guidance to the Blast Crew in the process of loading, tying, and firing large shots.

Requirements

• An experience operating as a full shotfirer
• Knowledge of explosive and storage regulations
• Knowledge of blasting and blasting procedures
• A QLD Shotfirers Licence
• Current HR licence (desirable but not essential)
• Hold a current QLD Explosives Security Clearance
• An impeccable safety record and commitment toward safety
