Senior Mechatronics Engineer

As a Sr Mechatronics engineer, you will be participating in the research, development and deployment of AI enabled robot cells for material handling and logistics applications. Requirements

• Researching, designing, prototyping, and testing ML-enabled robotic automation systems.
• Developing high-level system designs for hardware controls using off-the-shelf devices (I/O couplers, PLCs, sensors, etc.).
• Creating detailed pneumatic and electrical system designs.
• Collaborating with and managing domestic and offshore integration partners to co-develop and deploy robotic cells.
• Performing cost-benefit analyses to assess technical feasibility, cost implications, and performance benefits of new mechatronic systems.
• Writing technical specifications.
• Testing and characterizing electromechanical and optical systems.
• Supporting internal engineering teams by troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems to ensure equipment is operational for both demos and development.
