Job Description
Oscar is seeking an Associate, Medical Cost Analytics to join their Medical Economics team. The role involves analyzing medical costs to understand trends, projects financial outcomes, and identify cost savings. This position requires collaboration with various departments, including Medical Economics leadership, Data Science, Finance, and Payment Integrity. The Associate reports to the Senior Director, Medical Economics and works in a hybrid work environment.
Requirements
- College degree in a STEM field (e.g., Economics, Actuarial Science, Health Economics, Biostatistics, Health Informatics, Health Services Research)
- 4+ years of quantitative analysis experience
- Demonstrable track record of building analytics that drive business decisions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills
