Director, Public Policy

We're hiring a Director, Public Policy to join our Government Affairs team at Oscar, a health insurance company. The Director will lead the internal development and coordination of Oscar's public policy strategy, manage external public policy consultants, and collaborate with Government Affairs leaders in advocacy strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years experience in fast-paced public policy environments at the federal level
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare policy
• 2+ years of experience providing strategic counsel to senior policy executives and C-Suite members
• 2+ years of experience as representative of an organization before senior level external audiences
• 2+ years of experience in the executive branch, Congress, or a state insurance regulatory role
