Director, Public Policy

We're hiring a Director, Public Policy to join our Government Affairs team at Oscar. The role involves leading the internal development and coordination of public policy strategy, managing external consultants, and collaborating with government affairs leaders. You will report to the VP, Government Affairs and work in our New York City office with a hybrid schedule.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years experience in fast-paced public policy environments
• 7+ years of experience in healthcare policy
• 2+ years of experience providing strategic counsel to senior policy executives and C-Suite members
• 2+ years of experience as representative of an organization before senior level external audiences
• 2+ years of experience in the executive branch or Congress or in a state insurance regulatory role
