The wastewater operator will oversee and maintain the treatment of wastewater to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements

Perform analyses, recording measurements/actions in applicable record logs.
Recognize unusual, inefficient, or dangerous operating conditions and be able to take immediate actions.
Troubleshoot and has a basic understanding of process flow and mechanical functions.
Inspect equipment and perform routine cleaning/preventive maintenance.
Keep work area neat and organized.
Monitor and regulate waste treatment discharge to align with all applicable regulations.
Ability to keep working relationships, communicate effectively and work with minimum supervision.
Experience in manufacturing environment for +1 year.
Assist in the maintenance, repair, and replacement of motors, pumps, gearboxes, pulleys, belts, and other parts of the wastewater process
Perform extensive and in-depth preventive maintenance inspections, checks, and services
Current license in physical chemical wastewater treatment and desire to continue education to obtain higher license.
Knowledge of process chemicals; dangers associated with safely handling hazardous chemicals.
Solid understanding of operation, methods, and procedures of waste treatment.
