Industrial Electrician

Outokumpu is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join its dynamic and growing team in Calvert, Alabama. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the proper electrical performance and operation of all equipment within the Cold Rolling Works area.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience as industrial/manufacturing electrician
• I/E Degree preferred
• Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives
• Knowledge of Motors and Motor control stations and Instrumentation
• Knowledge of PLC systems (ABB, Siemens, P80i) preferred
• Must be able to read electrical drawings
• Experience with installing conduit
• Must be able to use various meters (Voltmeter, Hart communicator, Scope)
• Safety awareness
• Ability to read blueprints, electrical schematics and technical documents
• Ability to perform electrical tests, read results and diagnose and repair electrical problems
• Clear and effective communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and supervisors.
