Job Description
Medical Assistants work in a team to serve diverse, homeless, and underserved populations of all ages, supporting patient care, including clinical, administrative, mobile clinic, and general duties.
Requirements
- Knowledge of infection control principles and practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA laws and patient rights
- Ability to work with people from diverse ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, and sexual preference backgrounds
- Certification with AAMA, CCMA, or NCCT
- Experience in a medical office setting as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years
- Ability to work in a union-represented position
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds throughout the day
