The Carpenter performs skilled construction, installation, repair, and finishing work that contributes to the safe and successful delivery of commercial construction projects.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Carpentry certification or completion of a trade apprenticeship preferred
- Hands-on experience with commercial carpentry materials, methods, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and construction plans
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices
- Strong basic math skills for measurement, layout, and material calculations
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work in all weather conditions
