Applicant Pool for Adjunct Faculty, Teacher Education

The position requires teaching Teacher Education undergraduate students and has a primary responsibility of teaching. The instructor must be knowledgeable in the discipline and provide high-quality instruction, integrate appropriate practices of teaching different learning styles, and have strong skills in written and oral communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, and computer use.

Requirements

• Classroom and/or online instruction in the discipline
• Strong skills in written and oral communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, interpersonal, and computer use
• Knowledge of and integration of appropriate practices of teaching different learning styles
• Ability to integrate a variety of methodologies to facilitate student learning
• Ability to understand the needs of community college students and manage a classroom
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
• Ability to recognize students' strengths and weaknesses in the discipline and provide feedback
• Ability to evaluate student work fairly using Department guidelines
