Job Description
The Manufacturing Team Lead provides leadership and ensures the integrity of Tier 1 and 2 Boards data and information. They assign process/team members to daily work assignments, perform lean process audits, and maintain a safe and clean work environment. The role also involves assisting production Supervisors with team member development needs and training plans, and ensuring effective communication throughout the process team.
Requirements
- Provides leadership at Tier 1 Meeting
- Maintain the integrity of Tier 1 and 2 Boards data and information
- Assign process/team members to daily work assignments
- Perform regular lean process audits
- Maintain housekeeping and safety of the Tier 1 area
- Assist production Supervisor with assessing team member development needs
- Holds regular engagements and Gemba walks with operators
- Monitor and ensure a positive work environment for employees
- Ensure effective communication system is in place at all levels of the process
- Respond quickly to āAndonā signals that require support
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Assist operators in the interpretation of procedures, methods and correct use of production equipment
