Production/Operations Manager

The Operations Manager creates and fulfills production schedules, leads production personnel, and implements lean manufacturing to maximize production. This leader develops short and long-term goals, ensuring customer commitments are fulfilled and a safe work environment is maintained.

Requirements

• Implements strategic programs to improve labor efficiency, on-time delivery, and quality
• Generates monthly reports to effectively communicate program contributions and manufacturing issues
• Drives a corporate culture that focuses on facts and tangible results
• Recruits, selects, and trains manufacturing staff
• Produces products by establishing production planning systems and maintaining good manufacturing practices
• Interfaces with Plant GM and Supply Chain Manager to develop purchasing and logistical systems
• Achieves financial objectives by establishing budgets and controlling costs
• Provides leadership to ensure product quality meets specifications and criteria
