Job Description
The Tax Analyst II plays a critical role in Owens Corning’s global income tax compliance and accounting function, with responsibility for calculating and analyzing domestic book/tax differences as well as assisting with income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related area required; CPA certification, a MS or JD in Taxation, preferred
- Minimum 2 years of relevant tax experience in corporate or public accounting
- Experience with corporate federal and state/local income tax compliance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel preferred
- Experience with tax compliance software (e.g., OneSource)
- Familiarity with tax research tools (e.g., RIA Checkpoint, BNA, CCH)
- Knowledge of general ledger systems (e.g., SAP, BPC)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and organizational ability
- Effective collaboration and relationship-building skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
