Job Description
The Instructional Designer is responsible for building learning materials for Owens & Minor's Global Teammate and Leadership Development. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of developing adult learning programs and a strong background in adult learning theory and instructional design principles/tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology, Education, or Communication, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years of instructional design or related experience
- Significant experience with online instructional strategies and methodologies
- Ability to extract salient points during research and convert them into a high-quality training program
- Experience using Articulate, Storyline, Captivate, or other authoring tools
