Metal Fabricator/Welder - Projects

We are looking for a Metal Fabricator/Welder for the P&K Stone Projects Team. Position includes blueprint reading, welding, fabricating, heavy equipment operation, mining equipment repair and component installation, and working as a team to complete special projects within various P&K Stone locations.

Requirements

• Ability to work effectively as a team member as well as establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Welding and fabrication of steel to produce components such as conveyor legs, material chutes, and equipment support structures
• Operating equipment such as an all-terrain telehandler and/or excavator
• Ability to quickly devise solutions to various fabrication challenges that will be implemented on various pieces of mining plant equipment
• Previous experience working within active mine sites
• 1-2 years minimum of previous arc welding experience
• MSHA Part 46 training
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to follow P&K Stone mine safety rules and practices
• Ability to travel to P&K Stone locations in North Texas and Southern Oklahoma with candidate’s own tools
