Process Engineer

The Process Engineer will work with a team of multi-discipline engineers to support the plant Operations group through construction, commissioning, start-up and steady state, ensuring safe, reliable and sustainable production.

Requirements

• Active member of the process support team
• Support the start-up of the plant
• Prepare for, manage and report on process unit and equipment performance runs
• Monitor and report on the performance of the plant process units and utility systems
• Support maximization of plant capacity through process simulation, calculations and reporting
• Lead and implement process safety requirements
• Undertake plant trip investigation and reporting and develop reliability improvement initiatives
• Continuously improve plant performance through initiation and follow through on Management of Change
• Participate in HAZOP and other process safety reviews
• Provide day-to-day process engineering support for operations
• Analyze and report on plant and equipment performance and for cost & efficiency improvement
• Support process safety and management of process safety systems
• Provide technical support to Emergency Response Management team
• Participate in audits as required by plant management
• Participate in short term domestic & international assignments
• Available for call out during plant/production upsets
