The Process Engineering Manager will lead a process support team, supporting the plant Operations group through construction, commissioning, start-up and steady state, ensuring safe, reliable and sustainable production, thus meeting offtaker’s requirements. The role involves managing production planning, laboratory services, and process control, as well as providing technical support to the Emergency Response Management team.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of proven process engineering competence in the Oil and Gas industry, LNG experience mandatory
- Superior knowledge of and experience with commercial liquefaction technologies
- Skilled in process simulation and unit performance monitoring
- Demonstrated experience in supervision of a process engineering team, with a track record of talent development
- Knowledge and experience of project interface requirements during construction and commissioning
- Proven experience in production and support of an operating liquefaction plant
- Proven experience in process safety management
- Experienced in leading plant improvements processes and management.
- Competent in HAZOP and other technical safety reviews
- Experience in management of change systems
- Experience in root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Passion for building and guiding a small, dedicated Process Engineering team
- Energetic in the pursuit of continuous improvement processes
