PacificSource is looking for a Credentialing Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing provider credentialing and recredentialing, supervising staff, and collaborating with other departments. The role requires a minimum of 5 years of health insurance experience, with at least 3 years of credentialing experience. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and strong leadership skills.
Requirements
- Manage all provider credentialing and recredentialing
- Supervise and provide guidance to assigned staff
- Collaborate with provider partners, internal customers, and other external constituents
- Develop annual budgets and monitor spending
- Proactively work with other departments to improve interdepartmental processes
- Actively participate in various strategic and internal committees
- Provide oversight of staff and development of appropriate processes and templates
- Monitor practitioner profiles under strict confidentiality requirements
- Continually assess and improve Credentialing team processes
- Develop and implement systems and procedures to ensure program criteria compliance
- Resolve problems and issues for credentialing and survey analysts
- Collaborate with all other departments throughout PacificSource
- Maintain open communication with practitioners relating to required credentialing and survey processes
