Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist with a strong background in manufacturing environments, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for safety leadership, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.
Requirements
- Associates degree with major course work in EHS, risk management, or a closely related field is required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Professionally recognized certifications in EHS is preferred: ASP (Associate Safety Professional), Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH)
- Minimum of five (5) years of EHS experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Proven leadership of safety committees and cross-functional teams to strengthen engagement and accountability.
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and federal, state, and local EHS regulatory requirements.
- Hands-on experience with LOTO, confined space entry, ergonomics, and industrial hygiene practices.
- Skilled in incident investigation, root cause analysis, hazard assessments, JSAs, and corrective action implementation.
- Experienced in developing and delivering training programs, including new hire orientation and digital learning modules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
