Senior Mechanical Engineer

PAE is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead project teams, guide technical design work, and strengthen client relationships and internal operations. The ideal candidate has a mechanical engineering degree, a relevant professional credential, and 10+ years of industry experience with proven leadership and strong people skills.

Requirements

• Project team leadership and management
• Responsible for the preparation of deliverable documents
• Attend client meetings
• Independent evaluation and application of engineering judgment
• Proficient in mechanical system design
• Assemble effective project teams
• Develop project workplans
• Thorough understanding of interdisciplinary coordination
• Oversee engineering calculations and equipment selection
• Perform site visits and issues reports
• Provide training, guidance and mentorship for staff
• Develop client relationships
• Oversee the application of the project quality management plan
