We're looking for a People Business Partner to help scale our people infrastructure and strengthen our manager effectiveness, organizational design, and team health.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in HR or People roles
- Direct experience as a People Business Partner or HR Business Partner
- Strong knowledge of California labor laws and HR best practices
- Prior startup experience, ideally within Seed to Series B companies during periods of rapid growth
- Strong business partnership skills with the ability to build credibility and trust with leaders
- Proven experience coaching managers through performance management, employee relations, team effectiveness, and organizational change
- Experience building or improving people programs and infrastructure
- Strong project management and execution skills
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to use metrics and trends to inform decisions and recommendations
- Strong judgment, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy, clarity, and discretion
- Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment
