Tailscale is seeking an experienced People Business Partner to join their small but mighty People Experience team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in a People Partnership role, with at least 4+ years in a fast-paced, ever-evolving startup environment. They will help build, optimize, and scale organizational effectiveness and employee experience to support the company's rapid growth.
Requirements
- Design and implement People Programs to strengthen performance, leadership, engagement, and organizational health across the company
- Design and deliver scalable training, coaching, and guidance to managers and equip them with the tools to effectively drive feedback, performance, and growth with their teams
- Collaborate with managers to implement structured processes for defining, tracking, and reviewing goals that align with individuals and team objectives with the company's overall strategy
- Sensitively manage confidential employee relations and interpersonal conflicts, acting as a confidential advisor to ICs and managers
- Operationalize stay and exit interview processes, leverage qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable insights
- Drive succession planning and bench strength initiatives to highlight areas of weakness and appropriate steps to support aggressive growth
- Manage involuntary exit processes, including risk mitigation, documentation, and execution, partnering with Legal, Finance, and People Operations
