Commercial Counsel

Palantir is seeking a Commercial Counsel to join its in-house legal team. The role involves drafting and negotiating commercial customer contracts, managing intellectual property matters, and developing scalable legal infrastructure. The ideal candidate has 3-7 years of transactional legal experience and is an attorney in good standing, licensed in at least one state in the United States or the United Kingdom.

Requirements

• Attorney in good standing, licensed in at least one state in the United States or the United Kingdom.
• 3-7 years of transactional legal experience.
• Commercial contracting or technology transactions experience, in particular high-value complex strategic licensing transactions, and intellectual property subject matter expertise.
• Ability to manage nuanced commercial transactions, including the negotiation of SaaS and licensing agreements with our customers.
• Ability to advise on intellectual property matters arising in the context complex and highly technical software development.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a cross-functional team, using effective communication, strong writing and customer service skills.
• Demonstrated ability developing creative and analytical solutions to novel issues, while driving a portfolio of projects with minimal direction.
• Willingness to travel and work flexibly on a varied schedule based on the needs of the team, being available during nights and weekends as needed.
