Job Description
CRV is hiring their first AI Engineering Lead to reimagine how a top venture firm operates in the AI era. The role involves building internal tools, workflows, and agents to give the firm an edge in finding, evaluating, and supporting the next generation of iconic companies.
Requirements
- Product-minded engineer or former founder with experience in building production-grade tools using LLMs, embeddings, or retrieval systems
- Fluency in Python/TypeScript and modern ML/infra stacks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Vercel, LanceDB, etc.)
- Ability to obsess over user experience and create "magic" moments where AI feels like intuition
- Based in the SF Bay Area and willing to work in-office
